God's gentle lesson to me...

Yes, I had pack - ratted and filled many of boxes with stuff, things forgotten. Pulling them out of storage and preparing for the sale next week, it made me realize that God had blessed me back when I was much heavier and I didn't realize it. I had soooo much! and I didn't know it! I almost wanted to cry not for finally getting around to it, but because when I held up some of the old clothes, I realized that I used to think I was really something when I wore this outfit; or I thought I was the best when I went to this occasion in this dress... all the memories flooded my mind, and I wanted to burn all those things!
But through them I realized it was just about a year ago that I asked God for forgiveness and had repented and turned from my old ways! Praise God! And I thanked Him for showing me my old clothes as reminders, just one more time, before I generously price them cheap enough to sell quickly, and allow someone else, who might be needing this outfit, to make new memories and extend the usage out of all these clothes!
I want to thank God, Gwen and all my fellow desert buddies from the WDW encouragement board. You all truly lift and inspire me.
As for the sale, I can't wait to see shining faces on ladies that "find a treasure"! and can't wait to wear or use their new purchase. I am even going to "share the good news" and have before and after pics posted to introduce those still in Egypt of how God helped me.
I know most reactions are going to be "these can't be some of YOUR clothes?!" as I had kept these clothes for years. I'm selling what I can, donating the rest to a church afterward... but mostly sizes 18 - 28 (yes, ladies, 28) and here I will be, a shining example of God's work, at a size 10-12. Thank you , Lord Jesus!
